Springfield Community Theater/52SUMNER Partners with Alianza DV Services
presents To The Moon during Domestic Violence Awareness Month
In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Springfield Community Theater/52Sumner presents "To The Moon," a compelling docudrama based on over 200 survivor testimonies, on Thursday, October 16th at 52 Sumner Avenue, Springfield. The Performance will benefit Alianza DV Services, a leading provider of domestic violence support services in Western Massachusetts.
"To The Moon," written by playwright Beth Kander and directed by Springfield Community Theater’s Artistic Director, Vana Nespor, will be performed inside its what we think of as a sacred and safe performance space, 52Sumner. The show transforms the real experiences of domestic violence survivors into a powerful and enlightening hour-long theatrical experience.

AlianzaDV has been serving domestic violence survivors in Western Massachusetts for over four decades, providing emergency shelter, transitional housing, counseling services, legal advocacy, children's programming, and community education. The organization serves clients from diverse backgrounds with culturally responsive services and maintains a 24-hour hotline for crisis support.
